MAY IS NATIONAL PHYSICAL FITNESS AND SPORTS MONTH!
Healthy ME would like to celebrate by providing employees with exercise challenges for 4 weeks throughout the month of MAY! We recognize that it can sometimes be challenging to take part in a regular fitness routine. The purpose of May in Motion is not to provide a full daily exercise routine, but to keep exercise on your mind, introduce you to some new exercises and to provide a strategy for incorporating physical activity into your day. There are many modifications noted in the exercises. However, if some of the challenges are not possible for you due to injury or physical limitations, substitute something you CAN do or reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org for some more ideas! Have fun!
Common household items you can use for weights:
- Soup cans
- Water bottles
- Laundry detergent jugs
- Empty milk jugs rinsed out and filled with water
