Win an Amazon Echo Dot!

The Healthy MEE Survey is open! Share your feedback for a chance to win an Amazon Echo Dot!

Last year, over 700 Ellis employees shared their experiences with and feedback about Healthy MEE. We found that employees:

  • Are gaining an awareness and understanding of healthy lifestyles and activities.
  • Appreciate the support and encouragement from coworkers, management, and Ellis Medicine.
  • Like the insurance discount and other incentives!

You also let us know that improved on-site dietary options were important and that you wanted MORE – education opportunities, fitness classes, and communications. In 2016, Dining & Nutrition partnered with Healthy MEE to create healthier cafeteria recipes, and we established this website to better communicate and promote Healthy MEE activities.

Please consider sharing your feedback this year so that we can continue to improve Healthy MEE, your Ellis Medicine worksite wellness program! All participants in this year’s Healthy MEE Survey will be entered to win an Amazon Echo Dot!

Diabetes Education Opportunities

Did you know that more than 1 in 3 Americans currently have prediabetes, and 90% of them don’t even know they have it? What about that 1 in 11 Americans have diabetes, and a quarter of them don’t know it?

Ellis Medicine is offering two diabetes programs, free of charge.

For those living with diabetes, consider joining the Diabetes Support Group, which meets monthly to provide ongoing education, support and social networking for adults with diabetes and their families.

For those who have prediabetes, consider the Diabetes Prevention Program, a 16-week course that focuses on lifestyle changes regarding diet and activity.
