Don’t forget! The 2016 Passport deadline is TODAY – November 29!

The six Passport metrics are:

  • 2015-2016 Influenza Vaccine – the 2016-2017 vaccine you receive this fall will count for next year’s Passport
  • Preventive Physical Examif you received your physical between November 1-29, you must have your doctor complete the Health Practitioner section inside the Passport
  • Personal Health Assessment – available online, view instructions to complete the PHA here
  • Tobacco Free Attestation 
  • Healthy MEE Activity 1 
  • Healthy MEE Activity 2

Stress Management Workshops Coming in December

Healthy MEE QualifyingActivity

Register today for an upcoming stress management workshop presented by Capital EAP!

In this one-hour session, participants will learn strategies for controlling harmful stress, including the effect of stress on their physical well-being, how to identify stressors, strategies for managing stress reactions, and preventive self-care. This training also includes an experiential exercise in deep breathing, muscle relaxation, and guided imagery.

The Stress Free MEE Zones at the Open Enrollment Benefits Fairs are coming soon! Be sure to attend a fair on your campus – next week!

  • November 29: Bellevue Woman’s Hospital

The Sress Free MEE Zones will take place from 10am-2pm during the Ellis Hospital (November 15) and MSHC (November 17) fairs. Wellness and stress management themed raffle prizes available! Vendors and resources include:

More Yoga!

Join us on Mondays in November for yoga at MSHC from 6pm-7pm!

Instructors from Heartspace Yoga will lead beginner level yoga in a positive and supportive environment. These classes are offered free of charge to any Ellis Medicine employee. Just register here!

Classes will be held in the Chapel, with the exception of November 7, which will be held in the Auditorium. After our first class on 11/7, stay for a light snack and a discussion on stress management.
